Flexible LED Module

A flexible LED module has a soft rubber base, so it bends to follow curved walls, pillars, arches and cylinders. Modules are fixed to a shaped frame, usually with magnets.

Typical specifications

Specification Typical range
Pixel pitch about 1.5–4 mm
Module size commonly 320 × 160 mm or 240 × 120 mm
Bend convex and concave within the model’s minimum bend radius
Brightness indoor models, set by the model
Mounting magnets onto a steel frame shaped to the curve

These are typical ranges across brands; the exact figures depend on the model we quote.

Where it works best

  • round and square pillars
  • curved reception walls
  • cylinders and rings
  • stage and retail features

What to check before you buy

  • The smallest radius of your curve against the module’s minimum bend radius
  • A frame made accurately to the curve, so seams stay tight
  • Software mapping so the picture is not stretched
  • Indoor use only unless the model is rated for outdoors

Frequently asked questions

Can a flexible module go outdoors?

Most flexible modules are indoor-only. Outdoor curves usually use rigid cabinets angled to form the curve.

How tight can it bend?

It depends on the model’s rated bend radius. We check it against your drawing before quoting.
