A P1.2 indoor SMD screen has its LEDs 1.25 mm apart. That spacing decides how close people can stand, how big the screen must be for a given resolution, and what it costs. P1.2 is the usual step down from P0.9 when the room is a little larger and the budget matters.

Figures are calculated from the pitch; brightness, refresh rate and cabinet size depend on the exact model and brand. We confirm the full datasheet with every quote.
Where a P1.2 indoor screen works best
- meeting and conference rooms
- control and monitoring rooms
- hotel lobbies and reception walls
- broadcast and podcast studios
Indoor modules are not sealed against rain or direct sun, so they must stay inside or under full cover.
Is P1.2 the right pitch for you?
- If most viewers will be closer than about 1.25 m, a finer pitch such as P0.9 indoor looks smoother.
- If nobody comes closer than about 1.5 m, P1.5 indoor gives the same picture from there and costs less per square metre.
- Measure the distance from the screen to the closest viewer, and the width of wall you have. Our pixel pitch guide explains the rule.
Prices and quotes
Price depends on screen size, brand, cabinet type, controller and installation, so we quote per project rather than per module. Our indoor price guide explains what changes the cost. Send us the wall size and viewing distance to ask for a free quote, or call 0306-1333384.
Frequently asked questions
How close can people stand to a P1.2 screen?
About 1.25 m is the closest comfortable distance; from 2.5–3.75 m the picture looks completely smooth.
How big is a full-HD P1.2 screen?
To show 1920×1080 pixels natively, a P1.2 screen is about 2.4 m wide and 1.4 m high. Smaller screens still play HD video; the controller scales it.
Can P1.2 be used outdoors?
Not as an indoor model: indoor modules are not weatherproof and are too dim for direct sun. Choose an outdoor model for anything exposed to rain or sun.
