Why Rental Quotes Are Hard to Compare
LED wall rental in Pakistan is usually priced per square foot per day. Questions About the Screen Itself
1. What is the exact pixel pitch?

2. Is it rated for indoor or outdoor use?
An indoor rental screen at an outdoor mehndi will wash out before sunset and is at risk if it drizzles. Ask for brightness in nits and the IP rating.
3. What is the refresh rate?

4. How old are the cabinets, and have they been calibrated?
Rental cabinets from different batches show colour patches side by side. Ask whether all cabinets come from one batch and were calibrated together.
5. What is the final size and resolution?
Get the size in feet and in pixels, for example 16 x 9 ft = 1,248 x 704 pixels at P3.9. Your content team needs the pixel count.

6. How much power will the wall draw, and on what phase?
A 200 sq ft indoor wall can peak at 10 kW or more. Banquet hall sockets will not carry it.
7. Is a generator included? Who pays for fuel?
This is the most common hidden cost in Pakistan. Confirm generator size, fuel cost, and who handles it.
8. What happens during load-shedding?
Ask whether the processor and media player are on a UPS. A power blip without UPS can reset the show.
9. Is there surge protection and a stabiliser?
Voltage spikes during generator changeover damage power supplies. A good vendor brings protection with the kit.
Questions About Crew and Operation
10. Will an operator stay for the whole event?
Some vendors set up and leave. You need a trained operator at the controls until the last guest leaves.
11. Are spare modules and a spare receiving card on site?
A dead module in the middle of a 16 ft wall is visible to everyone. Spares on site mean a 5-minute fix.
12. How many hours do you need for setup and dismantling?
A 200 sq ft wall usually needs 3 to 5 hours to set up and test. Many halls allow limited load-in time. Plan the schedule around it, and check any local time limits that apply to functions.
13. Ground stack or rigged from truss?
Rigging needs hall permission and safe load points. Ground stacking needs a solid, level floor.

14. What video processor do you use, and how many inputs?
For weddings and conferences you will switch between laptops, cameras and media players. Ask how many inputs are available and whether switching is clean without black frames.
15. Can you handle a live camera feed or live stream?

16. Who prepares or adjusts content to the screen resolution?
A 16:9 slide on a 3:1 stage wall will look squashed or tiny. Ask whether the vendor resizes content or provides templates.
17. Is a test run included before the event?
Insist on a full content run-through at least 2 hours before guests arrive.

18. What exactly is included in the per sq ft rate?
Get a written list: screen, structure, processor, operator, transport, generator, fuel, spares, setup and dismantling.
19. Are there overtime charges?
Events in Pakistan run late. Ask the hourly rate after the booked window.
20. What is the advance and cancellation policy?
Most vendors take an advance. Confirm refund terms if the event is postponed due to weather or security.
21. Who is liable for damage?
Clarify responsibility if a guest or the venue damages modules.
22. What is the rain plan for outdoor events?
Ask for covers, drainage, and a clear rule on when the screen will be switched off for safety.
23. What is the wind limit for outdoor structures?
Tall ground-stacked walls need ballast and bracing. A responsible vendor has a wind speed limit.
24. Can you show photos or videos from similar events?
Ask for work at a similar venue size. A vendor used to 10 ft conference walls may struggle with a 40 ft concert stage.
25. Do you have a local team in my city?
